A year has passed since I was independent (in music industry). But I still feel like I was running away…

If I could see the finishing line, the only thing I should do is address to it. Nevertheless, I have a feeling that time is getting slow, and that I’m going around in a cave without an exit, so… I write music, as a shout of happiness.
I remember how, in the old times, I said “I want to make “chouwa” (this is the way she writes it in the blog, perhaps she refers to Chouwa, that kind of “special melody”, not melody in general. In fact, it was a song that I had on the tip of my tongue, and a minor part of the staff worked on it.
But now, with so many people opinion, time passes so fast! When it comes on deciding the tracks for an album…
As you already know, “Chouwa” was born again. KOKIA success in France
KOKIA has been the first Japanese artist to sell music in France and Spain Japan
In her latest concert in Paris th January, she reached the top number of assistants for a single singer, with 1200 people. We could say she is a pioneer for the rest of Japanese singers in Europe .
She has released “Aigakikoeru” in France and Japan (I don’t understand why they say that, as the album is not sold yet in Japan France , such as Germany or Italy

Uhhhh, long time since I did not write here… and I have to add a LOT of information
Two last weeks have been crazy on regards KOKIA world. There are many things to say, and I will do it step by step.
#1 KOKIA trip to Ireland
It seems it was a wonderful voyage . She enjoyed singing and playing with Irish artists, and melted with Irish scenery, so quite and peaceful, as she is, most of the times! (because don’t forget her parties!!)
She has posted two videos of this trip in her web, they are really good. We can see her in an Irish traditional pub and in the field. She sings in both videos. Definitely, she knows how to play FOLK!
#2 KOKIA new web – promotion web

It was a big surprise to me. It has really official information, because it’s sponsored by the label which will release “Ai ga Kikoeru” – yes, it’s confirmed now. The language is French.
It’s not a fan web, so the content is quite smart and within a range of possibilities.
Downloads won’t be posted, I suppose, but we have samples for all Ai ga kikoeru new album.
These samples are correctly inserted. But, the web-flash opened for music professionals (http://www.kokia.fr/kokia_player/kokia.htm ) has many may mistakes .. the songs do not match with the names they say.

#3 New album - non Japanese songs
Well, much has been said about a French song and English songs. The fact is that no French song appears neither on the tracklist offered by kokia.fr, nor in the pro-flash. So, we cannot confirm yet this. Perhaps, it will be included as a bonus track, but I doubt it.
On another note, there are indeed TWO ENGLISH songs in the new album, Why do I sing? ( the topic of the song reminds me a lot to the prologue of Remember me) and the World version of Remember the kiss. I have not listened to the album yet, but I would have preferred she would have sung another song instead RTK, because it was present too in Pearl

I wish I could read her blog, it must be really interesting. KOKIA has deep feelings and thoughts, and she explains them in the blog. When October was finishing, she said that heat was also affecting in Japan
