11th February - BACK FROM IRELAND
KOKIA arrived two days ago. The recording is finished. She has sung in English and in Gaelic.
She has written the recording diary, and when she has time, she will put it in the blog.
The singer wants everyone to listen the result. I really want to listen to it, actually ^^

1st February - KOKIA goes to Ireland
In the past months there has been al lot of news realted with KOKIA and Ireland. KOKIA has been mentioning recordings in Ireland, in fact,she has gone there several times, in short trips, to record.
It seems she's recording a whole new album there.
She has mentioned in her blog as well that she's learning Gaelic. (I discovered this in the new years' day big update, but i had so many new things to tell you...)
In her latest entry, KOKIA anounces she sets off Ireland to make the final recording. It seems she's going to spend more than a weekend there.
She has written this sentence in the entry:
Not decorated music. Not decorates song. Not decorated mind. The truth. I want to play that kind of sound ~ I want to make that kind of music.
And she ends with "I'm leaving"
The KOKIkyoku will be a recorded one.
As soon as I have more info, I will tell you.

泣いても笑っても＾＾／♪あと2 – crying & laughing
She was singing all night long – It was the first time she did such a thing.
She says she has to make the mixing on the 9th, 10th and 11th, so she has to finish the singing part. She says something about crying or laughing- I think she means that she does not know whether she wants to cry or laugh. She’s exhausted!
I think she says she sang the same twice instead of repeating the vocal track.

Title album decided: The VOICE
There has been sorrow, difficulties and bad health in the past weeks, but the completeness of the album means like a trial that has been succeeded.
The songs of the album are like waves from the sea, that come one after another.
She wrote this at 3 am! There was a starry blue sky, after some clouds disappeared.

The VOICE album is taking shape. Now order of the songs has to be arranged. It is like ingredients: which plate should I choose for a starter? I don’t know, but she talks about food and tastes… I don’t know if she is means it or is a metaphor for the music.

クリスマスツリー Christmas tree
The bulldog you see behind the tree (difficult to see) is a present given to KOKIA in the World Cup, in France. She says it’s really nice to have a plush of that kind – She has never seen a plush of a bulldog in Japan.

Nov 21 2007 - New layout - Really beautiful
The news section has been compressed into three sections.
The blog structure has also changed. Now it has two sections, one for music related entries and another one for the rest of subjects.
There's a new BBS, only for ancoro members.

Strange, isn’t it?
We all know KOKIA for her precious voice and good music rather than for image stuff, but in her latest VIVIANA blog entry, she writes about her two favourite cloth designers! She says that she chooses their costumes for their performances.
Their names are tsumori chisato and sunao kuwahara.
I have selected some links so you can see designs by them. Some are really beautiful, some of them are strongly Japanese inspired… and you will find some resemblances with KOKIA costumes in many of them ^^

been lucky enough to have watched the live of KOKIA in Paris, and uhhh,
it'sssss sooooooo nice! i really hope it's released in France... who knows?.. perhaps... ; )

first saw the short indication under the envelope, then I saw the
indication in "mail to anco"... and finally, I have seen in the marquee
the information about te English web! I'm sure they would make the mix
really nice, and with that pretty and simple font ^^

LATEST ENTRIES IN KOKIA'S BLOG (30/04/2007)
She has been attending many events these past weeks, including, lives in Nara, an acoustic concert in NHK hall and she has been at the Britain
embassy to an event of premier of a book. Watch out her latest blog
entry and use excite translator, you would get a glimpse of what
happened there!
In
the NHK hall, she was attending a concert of the man who made the
acoustic arrangement for the Yume ga CHIKARA song! And also, he
collaborated in the REDGARDEN ost.
She
expresses her wish to make an acoustic concert, with a full orchestra,
above all, with Strings arrangements. She would put many effort in it…
She tries to separate the instruments as she listened to a song. And
she says she’s fond of electronic music lately! I’m sure she would make
a really good thing in this area…
She ends up saying that many people attended the concert and that she is looking forward to work with him again.

She was nervous, because she’s not used to this kind of things yet (and I’m not surprised! She SHOULD GO MORE TO TV!!!)

sound even better, and the new verion of ariatou, which, I must see, it
has dissapointed me, i hope the full version is good and has something
new... well, it's obviously new recording, but the song has almost the
same arrangement... let's wait for the full song, then...
